Honda’s vehicles with V6 engines equipped with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) are able to deactivate engine cylinders to improve fuel economy. These engines are equipped with technology to dampen and decrease the vibration of the engine when cylinders are deactivated. While these systems effectively decrease the amount of vibration transmitted to the passenger cabin, you may still notice a light vibration when the engine is running on 3 or 4 cylinders during light cruising.
