sharing and distributing news and web content. Using an RSS
reader you can view data feeds from multiple sources. These feeds usually
include headlines, summaries, pictures, and links to full stories.
RSS/News Aggregators:
RSS/News Aggregators or Readers will download
and display the RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial News
Aggregators are available for download. We suggest that you look over the
products that interest you and review the features and screenshots to find
out which one will work best for you.
There are many other products also available. Simply perform a search
on the web or visit sites like
download.com and
tucows.com for downloads
and reviews.
Many RSS Aggregators are separate programs however there are other services
that will
let you add RSS feeds to programs like Outlook. Outlook 2007 has
built in RSS support direct from Microsoft.
