Security System
Security with remote
operation for LX, HX, GX and EX Civic models helps protect the Honda
from theft and tampering. Unlike after market security systems,
it's designed and engineered specifically for the Civic and is
user-friendly. Factory-integrated system: security and remote
controls utilize factory-installed equipment designed to work with
vital vehicle systems. Detection sensors sound alarm if door,
trunk, ignition switch or disarm switch have been disturbed.
Welcome light: when vehicle is unlocked by remote, the interior dome
light illuminates for safety (LX/HX/GX/EX only). Visual and
audible alarm: once triggered the alarm honks the vehicle's horn and
flashes its parking lights. System status indicator flashes
armed condition or coded break-in information with a red L.E.D.
indicator mounted under lower dash panel. Power interrupt
protection: if system is armed and then battery is disconnected, when
power is restored, system will be armed. Keyless entry system
required for HX, LX & GX models. |
