Remote Engine Start is a handy feature, especially in very cold or very hot weather. Standard on 2016 Honda Accord EX, EX-L, and Touring models, Remote Engine Start can turn on the engine and activate the climate-control system from up to 60 yards away.
An air deflector helps protect the hood’s finish and helps keep the windshield clean from insects and other road debris. The weather resistant plastic blend is good-looking and long-lasting. Honda-manufactured components ensure a precise fit.
This video will familiarize you with how to use the new voice-recognition system with simplified voice commands to find your destination in Pilot EX-L with navigation and above trims. Using voice commands for the navigation system has never been easier.
Buyers of the 2016 Pilot EX-L with navigation and above trims will be met with a new, Garmin-based navigation system* with stunning graphics and simplified functionality. A new, simplified voice-recognition system has also been implemented to make finding destinations, addresses, and businesses easier than ever before. This video will discuss some of the features and benefits of the new system and how to use them.
*The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ is available on EX-L models and standard on Touring models in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. (FM Traffic service only available in the United States, except Alaska.) Please see your Honda dealer for details.
This video will describe a new driver-assistive feature exclusive to the Pilot Elite trim—the cross traffic monitor*. It can come in very handy when backing out of a parking spot in a crowded parking lot or when backing out of a driveway onto a busy street. When in reverse gear with the multi-angle rearview camera in any viewing mode, the driver is alerted to a detected vehicle with an audio alert and amber arrows on the vehicle’s rearview camera display. The side-to-side warning distance extends up to about 82 feet from each side of the rear of the vehicle.
*Always visually confirm that it is safe to drive before backing up, as the rearview camera and cross traffic monitor may not provide complete information about conditions at the rear of your vehicle. Monitor cannot detect all objects behind or to the side of a vehicle and may not detect a given object; system accuracy will vary based on weather, size of object, and speed. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
